The Sea House

At Nakatumble there are four premium rooms to choose from. They have been personally designed by the owner using recycled and sustainable materials.

The Sea House is situated just meters from the ocean, this little bungalow has a private courtyard and a large outdoor bath. Enjoy a bath on a starry night with a bottle of champagne and the company of someone you love. The Bedroom is 24m2, with a comfy king size bed covered with premium linen, side tables, reading lamps and plenty of hanging space. The Bathroom is 3m x 2.5m with shower, toilet, vanity and organic toiletries.

The Courtyard Suite

This is the ‘Master Bedroom’ of the property, it boasts a huge bathroom with bath and shower, private sitting room and exclusive courtyard. It’s part of the main house but it’s exclusive and totally private. The sitting room can also be converted to a bedroom with up to two single beds * can easily accommodate a cot and 2 single beds plus the king bed

The Bedroom is extra large (35m2)and features a big screen TV and DVD player and leopard skin chez lounge. There’s a comfy king size bed covered with premium 1000 thread count linen, side tables, reading lamps, ceiling fan and plenty of hanging space.

The 16m2 bathroom opens onto a private sun-drenched courtyard. Inside there’s a bath big enough for 2, shower, toilet, vanity and organic toiletries.

Seaview Suite

The Sea View Suite offers beautiful views across the garden to the sea. With louvres and pivot doors that open completely to the sea, you can take in the view and sounds of the ocean. Guests enjoy sleeping with the breeze on their bed. Laze away the afternoon reading on the wrap around verandah whilst enjoying a cocktail or two.

The Bedroom is 30m2, with a comfy king size bed covered with premium 1000 thread count linen, side tables, reading lamps and plenty of hanging space. The Bathroom is 2.5m x 2.5m with a bath big enough for 2, shower, toilet, vanity and organic cotton towels and toiletries.

Garden View Suite

Tucked a little further away from the ocean, The Garden View Suite offers stunning views over the pool and tropical gardens. Living space 30m2 with Nakatumble wooden doors that open to take in the view of the garden and pool. They can an be closed for complete privacy. The room can easily accommodate a single bed or two !

The Bedroom is 30m2, with a comfy king size bed covered with premium 1000 thread count linen, side tables, reading lamps and plenty of hanging space. The bathroom is 3m x 3m with a bath big enough for 2, shower, toilet, vanity and organic toiletries.

Private Chef

The kitchen team creates some of the most wholesome and flavour-packed meals on the island, all from produce grown at Nakatumble (they even raise their own pigs and ducks!). To start your day, a continental breakfast including fruit from the garden, muesli, fresh bread from the local French patisserie and of course – your choice of coffee.

Nourishing lunches and dinners are catered to your tastes (and dietary requirements) and could include anything from seared tuna with dill, capers and buttery potatoes to home-made flat bread with hummus and a rocket salad picked from the garden.

Flexible meals are based on your needs (vegan, keto, paleo, vegetarian, gluten free, allergic to shellfish and peanuts etc

Drink

Pure filtered rainwater plus a soda stream for making soda water are provided by the resort. Not far from the airport and on the way to Nakatumble there is a supermarket called Au Bon Marche. Here you can stock up on wine, beer, mixers, juice and snacks.

Alternatively we can organise to pre-fill the fridge in readiness for your arrival. Just let us know your drink preference and we will order, pay and transport it for you.

Activities

Nakatumble has over 6 private acres and its own marine sanctuary to explore. Kayaks, paddle boards and snorkel equipment are supplied free of charge.

Most guests chose to have a massage day (additional cost) on the first and last day to get you in the grove of chilling out and getting you into the island vibe. The massage therapist will be around for 5 hours so some in the group may want 30 min and others may be more indulgent. How you split the time is up to you.

Efate is renowned for its variety of day trips, experiences and activities (additional cost). From Nakatumble you visit the French Bakery to pick up a few treats, then to Rarru Waterfalls and then to the Blue Lagon . Your hostess will set up your lunch and you will be the envy of everyone! We then recommend that you go to Eton beach.

My friends & I have just stayed at Nakatumble – 11 of us to celebrate a friends 50th birthday. It was amazing, the location is tucked away but ideal for a party wanting to get away from it all. There’s a private beach just around the corner and the resort owners supply kayak’s, paddle boards and snorkelling gear. All the food is included in the price and the hosts cannot do enough for you.

We also hired a mini bus and driver for the day and went out to Rarru Falls & the Blue lagoon which were both beautiful.
