Star Breeze by Windstar Cruises

Every accommodation category aboard Star Breeze is a suite, giving you more room to settle in between island days. Expect ocean-view, balcony, and owner categories, with thoughtful comforts such as robes and slippers, a minibar/refrigerator, a safe, a hair dryer, and L’Occitane bath amenities.

Between ports, spend time at the infinity pool, visit the spa or complimentary sauna, linger in the bars, ease into an on-deck hot tub or enjoy the water-access marina platform. Dining is included, with 24-hour room service and specialty restaurants such as Basil + Bamboo part of the Star Breeze experience.

Lagoon Days

Kayak, paddleboard or snorkel from the yacht’s stern watersports platform when conditions allow, then return onboard for lunch, shade and sea views.

Bora Bora Event

On selected Tahiti sailings, Windstar’s Destination Discovery Event brings guests together for a private Bora Bora motu feast with fire dancers.

Local Immersion

Enjoy local performances, pareo tying, lei making, cultural storytelling, market-led food moments and locally inspired dishes along the way.

Star Breeze carries an open-air pool plus hot tubs, and in Tahiti the pool deck becomes the yacht’s social centre. Long lagoon days, sunset drinks and warm evenings under deck lighting between islands and new friends. 

The signature Windstar experience, though, is at the stern. When the yacht anchors in calm lagoon waters, the marina platform lowers to sea level and the crew hands out complimentary kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, snorkelling gear and water floats — you swim straight off the back of the yacht into Bora Bora or Moorea’s lagoon.

Star Breeze also deploys its Aquabana floating platform, a shaded lounge sitting right on the water.

A fitness centre and spa round out sea days, but in Tahiti the lagoon itself is the main event — and the marina makes it effortless.

Every Windstar Tahiti sailing includes the complimentary Bora Bora Celebration, Windstar’s signature Destination Discovery Event. This event is a private beach feast on a Bora Bora motu, featuring grilled lobster and local specialities, Polynesian music, and a fire-dancing show.

We find it is consistently the night guests talk about most.

In each port, optional shore excursions are led by local guides. Typical Dreams of Tahiti options include lagoon snorkelling and diving in Moorea’s Cook and Opunohu bays, 4×4 island interior tours, vanilla plantation visits around Raiatea and Taha’a, black pearl farm tours, and village and cultural experiences in Huahine. The route also calls at Motu Mahaea, a small islet near Taha’a, for a relaxed beach day.
