Resort Facilities
Food is an important part of any holiday, and on Vomo it is given enormous attention. The result is a standard of cuisine normally found in fine restaurants, made from the freshest ingredients, and very contented and delighted guests.
Breakfast at the Reef Restaurant is a vast selection of fresh fruits, nuts, yoghurts, chia puddings, muesli, cereals, island baked pastries and breads from our chilled walk-in breakfast buffet room. Your breakfast a la carte menu features delicious breakfast meals, made to order.
Lunch is offered at The Rocks Restaurant for adult guests from 1pm to 4pm daily, dishing up an eclectic and delicious Asian menu selection to enjoy in the restaurant or at your deck chair or cabana by the poolside. Lunch is also available at Reef Restaurant for all resort guests from 12 noon to 3pm. A choice of several items across three course menus, that change every day of the week.
Dinner is served nightly at Reef Restaurant from 6.30pm for all resort guests. Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, they offer a sophisticated la carte dining menu with a selection of 4 starters, main meals and desserts. There are vegetarian, gluten and lactose free options on all menus. On Thursday and Sunday evenings, Reef Restaurant has a more relaxed family style menu. There is entertainment each night at Reef Restaurant.
The Rocks is open for adults only dining (fr 16 years) on Thursday and Sunday evenings with a journey through South East Asia of share plates.
One of the bonuses being a larger island is having the space to play. If sitting still is not your forte there are plenty of traditional exercise options scattered in amongst the green lush gardens. Your holiday includes use of non-motorised water sports and activities, including daily snorkelling trip and snorkelling equipment, kayaks, paddle boards, sailing craft, 9-hole par-3 chip and putt golf, tennis, croquet, volleyball and gym.
The VOMO gym, keeps the fitness fanatics feeling pumped while our golf course and tennis court allow for quality couple and family time – all the fun and healthy activities you struggle to find time for when at home.
VOMO offers a fun 9 hole pitch and putt golf course for everyone to use without charge. The resort has a few sets of golf clubs for both adults and children that are complimentary to hire.
The floodlit tennis court is available for guest use at any time without charge. A selection of racquets and balls are available at reception. There’s also a basketball hoop at one end of the court, for those who want to practice their shooting.
The Gym is located adjacent to Spa in the middle of the island, next to the golf course. This air-conditioned facility houses a cross trainer, walking machine, stationery cycle machines, free weights and pull down weights. The air conditioned gym is open 24 hours with complimentary access for all guests.
VOMO also offers one of the most stunning adult only zones in the Pacific – The Rocks. This purpose built destination, on Vomo Island, is perfectly positioned on the western tip of the island and features a pool, expansive relaxation decks, a cocktail bar and a restaurant. From here you will enjoy some of the best views (and sunsets) in the South Pacific.
As part of VOMO’s generous inclusions, all families will be offered up to 4 hours of Baby Butler minding service per day. Baby Butlers care for infants and children of all ages are available from 7.00am to 11.00pm.
The Kids Village is open year round from 9am to 9pm and is complimentary for all guests to use. This state of the art facility is air conditioned, has soft floor play areas and quality toys, craft room, media room with individual bean bags, outdoor play area and climbing equipment, plus their own ‘restaurant’ facility.
VOMO’s Kids Village operates with dedicated Chef and children’s menu, providing a dining experience that can be enjoyed by all children 4 and over, or with supervision for children under 4 years of age by parent or a Baby Butler ($ hourly fee). A great Children’s menu provides a la carte options to suit all palates and special dietary requirements can usually be catered for.
Children are welcome to dine with parents or can enjoy their own dining experience at The Kids Village from 5.30pm from the fabulous kids menu. Wednesday evening, is VOMO’s Lovo, Meke and barbecue night.

How to get to Vomo Island, Fiji?
Vomo is located in the very popular island resort area known as the Mamanuca Group of islands. The Mamanucas are popular due to their close proximity to the mainland of Fiji, Viti Levu. Getting to Vomo is easy just 15 minutes by air or just over 35 minutes by boat from the mainland.! Operating fast speedboat transfers on charter basis, between Vuda Point Marina and Vomo Island or vice versa. Vuda Point Marina is located just 20 minutes drive from Nadi International Airport. The comfortable and fast boat ride takes approximately 35 minutes to VOMO, enabling guests to be on the island in around an hour after departing the airport. An air-conditioned catamaran service also departs Denarau Marina to Vomo or vice versa once a day. Want to arrive a little quicker? Vomo is easily accessible by seaplane or a helicopter ride.
